Marula Magic

This past week I have had the pleasure in showcasing the interior design work of OLàLà! Interiors who are based in the Lifestyle Centre in Ballito. This particular home shown below is a wonderful mix of old and new where the design team have taken pieces from their first interior project on the owner’s previous home in Gauteng and interwoven these seamlessly into the new aspects of the interior layout of this wonderful home in Ballito. The home was designed by Feeu Architects and construction by Extra Dimensions.

  3. Hi Grant

Do you ever use a mast to get height?

You are so talented and an absolute idol of mine. I envy your complete understanding and control of light in ever situation!

Hi Shannon, Thanks for the wonderful compliment.

No I don’t believe in the low light situations it would be able to remain still enough. I always try to get a position that enables the camera to be as level with the house as possible – my tripod goes to about 2.2m high with camera on the head. If that can’t be done I generally don’t shoot that elevation.

I was googling my new novel – Marula Magic and your Marula Magic came up on the screen! – I would be very interested to know where/why you chose the name – interesting, this is the first time I’ve come across anything with the same name – Jacqueline
