Outdoor Expedition Gear Showcase in the Karkloof Reserve

This past weekend I headed up to Karkloof nature reserve to work with the team from The Safari Company in showcasing a number of products for outdoor adventure holidays. The intention was to capture these products in use in the environment and situation that they would be utilized. The products included the vehicle and trailer being kitted out by Front Runner vehicle outfitters, trailer built by Metalian and the shocks for the vehicle supplied by Gabriel. The supplementarty accesssories to make the outdoor experience complete were the fridge and cooling systems by National Luna all powered by the Flexopower Energy Solutions and managed by the CTek Battery Management systems, while the backup generator for the trip was supplied by Yamaha. Just in case we were to come across some difficult terrain and needed extraction from sand or mud, the vehicle is accessorized with Maxtrax, the innovative, lightweight vehicle recovery device that’s Australian designed & engineered. The complete range of protective canvas covers, bags and storage solutions were courtesty of Camp Cover, clothing and daypack from K-Way Expedition Gear and sun protection by Island Tribe.
