What better way to spend a family dinner with your wife and 3yr old daughter than by an eco-sensitive estuary watching the hippos playfully enjoy the last of the daylight. This was the St Lucia Skiboat club and we were sure treated to some amazingly simple good quality food. One of the best pizzas I’d had ever.
I do enjoy taking the opportunity to capture some low light photography of special places of interest. I was at St Lucia to do a location shoot of one of the lodges on the estuary so having the camera gear with me, I played with a 30s exposure letting the camera’s sensor see the light and colours as natural and contrasty as possible.
