Feng Shui is not something I know alot about, but when I was commissioned to showcase this residence for Metropole Architects, I was told that the home was primarily designed around the principles of Feng Shui and the positioning of the structure on the site was determined by these guidelines. Feng shui is a Chinese metaphysical and quasi-philosophical system that seeks to harmonize individuals with their surrounding environment. This site truly is a feather in the cap of these world-class architects as the flow and use of the space is quite sensational. Standing in the main lounge, the vista over the balcony and water feature make one enjoy the uninterrupted views to the Indian Ocean. This is classic Bali-style architecture with a beautifully timeless, modern twist.
