Marvelous Metropole

This residence is absolutely beautiful and there are so many aspects of it that so makes it feel like a home. The house, set deep in the forest and partial views of the golf course below, is brilliantly designed by Metropole Architects and construction by Sygnatur Projects.

With the home owner being a lover of koi fish, the home has a sensation of being wrapped by water – first with the koi pond that surrounds the entrance and then flows through the house to meet the swimming pool that then cascades around the entertainment patio on the other side. The kitchen by Kitchen Classics is sensational with clean lines that extend to the open plan lounge and dining area – interior design by Michelle Throssell Interiors. I love the mix of stone and wood throughout bringing an earthy, natural feel to compliment the Bali architectural style of the Zimbali Forest Estate. Other suppliers in the project that I am aware of are: staircase by Kantina Projects, blinds by AC Screens and Shutters, beautiful lighting by Cobin Lighting, paint supplied by Midas Earthcote, decking by Timber Trends and joinery by Durban Joinery.

This project also published on Contemporist.com – a daily source for architects and interior designers to discover new products and projects in the world of contemporary design.

Thank you Josh. I am afraid I was not the architect so would not be able to help you with that info. Glad you enjoyed viewing my photography.

Do you have any photo’s showing the roof design – it looks like it is split in two sections. One on top of another.
