Gwahumbe Game Reserve & Spa

Gwahumbe is such a jewel in the heart of the rolling hills of Kwazulu Natal only 100kms from Durban, just outside Mid-Illovo within a National Heritage site. With the Gwahumbe river flowing through the reserve and a beautiful ecosystem where the game thrive on the natural habitat, you’re bound to have an amazing stay with the hospitable team at Gwahume Reserve.

Furthermore, this venue is ideal for honeymooners and couples wishing to re-kindle their love in a romantic getaway. Gwahumbe will provide you with various pamper scenarios for you to enjoy each other’s company, undisturbed. The scenarios that I captured in this showcase are: the four wheeler picnic where you’re free to explore the reserve and setup your meal spot where you please; private dinner in the bird watcher’s hide next to the dam; a private dinner in the wine cellar; as well as my favourite, the spa dinner followed by a chocolate fondue in the spa bath! Ooooh who would say no this pampering!

Enjoy some of the imagery below and then contact Gwahumbe to make your reservation: +27 031 781 1082 or www.gwahumbe.co.za
