The Oakhurst Hotel in George on the popular Garden Route of South Africa, lives up to their slogan of offering “urban tranquility in the heart of George”. With the thatched roof building with gables, very reminiscent of a Cape Dutch Manor House, facing the Outeniqua Mountains and staff who are friendly and welcoming, making your stay in George a memorable one. It certainly was for me and I thoroughly enjoyed showcasing this historic hotel in all its glory. I’d highly recommend this venue as your port of call for your next stay in George.
